WonderNerd in three words: confident, sharp-witted and goofy
Though most people would describe him as a friendly and virtuous young boy, WonderNerd can be quite full of himself. Some, including WonderNerd, say it's a good portion of healthy superhero confidence. Others are convinced he is suffering from a downright superiority complex. Anyhow, WonderNerd is and has been successful in various aspects of his life, with the most prominent examples being his academic career and crime-fighting-related activities. The one thing he isn't good at is physical exercise - but he won't let you mention that.

Backstory
After graduating high school at the age of nine, Jake found himself with quite some time on his hands: the idea of starting his academic career this young seemed, even for him, a little drastic. Even though various prestigious universities had offered him scholarships, Jake decided to take some time to figure out what exactly it was that he wanted to do with his life. Luckily, figuring stuff out is one of his greatest assets. It didn't take long for Jake to realize that the obvious decision was to put his extraordinary intelligence to use for the greater good. And what better way to do this than by becoming the city's very own superhero?
Henceforth going by the fitting name of WonderNerd, Jake wasn't keen on being a lone wolf. He encouraged his sister Evy to join his task force, and found another seemingly worthwhile addition to his team in his childhood friend Brian, who had always been fascinated by the world of superheroes. Jakes incredible wits, Evys down-to-earth realness and Brians optimism and perseverance made a highly successful combination, which was even more accentuated by the unprecedented drop in the city's crime rates.
Unfortunately, the team didn't stick together for long. Tensions between Jake and Brian were running high. Both have different stories as to how the actual break-up happened, but rumor has it that it had something to do with an ill-fated tap dance performance. Brian left the team and swore he would revenge all the people who had wronged him in the past. He took on the name of Anti-Nerd as a dark allusion to his former friend, and went on to become one of the most malicious criminals the city had ever seen.
Despite of being shaken by Brians departure and unexpected change of heart, WonderNerd was quick to fill the void that was left in the team. Rose, a wacky teenager both blessed and cursed by a wide range of nuclear waste-infused superpowers, was recruited a few weeks after Brian left. Team WonderNerd was back on track. Nowadays WonderNerd, Evy and Rose form the successful evil-defeating gang of heroes that the city can rely on.
